I work as a Network Support Engineer for Apaseal Ltd in Hailsham, they supply garage equipment to the UK, mainly tyre fitting machines, tools and sundries.
Get to see some quite interesting equipment. The computers aren't so exciting though :)
I'm as some may know :p a secondary school teacher, science ie the big kids.
I am currently off work, planning to return in a couple of weeks after an ankle and knee op.
I am lucky as I love my job, it can be very tiring and an emotional drain but very rewarding.

I work for O2 as a Sales Advisor and a part of the management team (do the work.........don't get the pay :( ) but off work at the moment 'till my leg is working again and I can walk around the shop floor.
Not my dream job, but gets the money in for me to do the work on Katt so worth it :)

Copied over from another thread......
My job, at the moment, is management of construction projects. I find it a bit of a drag when I am office bound but now.......I have to drive around Canterbury and the north coast of Kent quite a lot. I can't really complain can I  :p

We're in the same line of business. I am self employed now but have been in site management on civil engineering projects.
Are you in building or civils?

For the past 6 years I have been working on a consultancy basis for Canterbury City Council and at the moment I am overseeing two projects on site, a coach park in Canterbury and a cycle track near Herne Bay :)

Well actually my future there is beginning to look a bit dodgy, unless they get approval to proceed with a large repaving project in the city centre, after the two current projects are finished.
That's the problem with being self employed

I know where you're coming from mate... and im on the books. Thankfully we've picked up a load of work on a frame work agreement but i'de be lieing if I said I didnt think we were in trouble at one point. We all had an email the other week asking whether managers would be willing to work away, but there wasn't any specific locations. Knowing my luck we've been accepted on a framework in birmingham lol.

It isn't very good out there at the moment is it. My son was a sub-sgent for Jacksons Civil Engineering 'till he got made redundant last month. He's not having much joy trying to find something.

Most of my mates will say I don't do anything for a living :D
According to my job title, I'm a technical resourcing specialist, which translates into me writing VBA stuff for Air Traffic Control (I used to be an operational type, but then they discovered other things I can do).
