well this weekend i have to myself!..:yahoo::yahoo:
ive put the correct steering wheel on the silver lude and fixed the centre cap on the red ludes wheel :)
sideskirts and more tinkering to follow
Not bad for part of the morning. Just sold the mx-5 and now just doing some paperwork, updating sites, adverts and wrapping some pressies up for my dad.
Considering taking Fulgy out tomorrow up to Milton Keynes but I think I will be scared out of my mind in the passenger seat and not having a steering wheel ;)

No plans going to make this one a proper lazy one!

Was intending on a lazy one but as ever something rears it head. My peugeot seems to have developed an oil leak *kicks the car*, so i've got to take a look and see whats going on. On the plus side its a valid excuse to get under the car and tinker. :D
Make the most of it, looks like more cold weather on the way.

I got the worse to pop out but I still need a visit to a garage :(
Gutting, not easier to find a door? What colour is it? You never know what I have hanging around the workshop. We did have a couple of doors in green and it might be easier to spray to matching colour. Was it the lude?
Stavros, did you get that oil leak fixed or have you given up.:p

Erm, I didnt give up... although thats probably because i didnt start :P. I went out to the garage to give it a quick tidy up before i jacked up the peugeot, but in the process ended up sitting in the bug writing a list of things to do, things i need to buy and things for santa to bring me at xmas :D.
Going to see if i can take the peugeot to work in the week and put it on the ramp in our work shop. Fingers crossed its a warranty problem, but almost certain they'll find some weird and wonderful reason as to why i have to pay them. Thieving :tosser:'s

Cheers Ang. It was the Lude. I'm popping to a bodyshop tomorrow to get a quote for a fill and paint job. Don't really fancy doing a door change

And was this all with a pint! Funny that one drink and its so easy to put any job off.
Warranty problems are a nightmare, might help to do an internet search and see if others have had similar problems as it can be something to hit them with.

Yea ive been on the owners club website (yes, there is an owners club for peugeot 207's - stop sniggering)... and sadly doesnt seem to be a common thing. Going to try and look under it this week and go from there

Oh my god, bit much but then I have seen how much time and effort goes into it.
I managed to damage my front bumper today :complain:and not happy. I had to go for a check up today for my ankle and knee. Parking was a nightmare as normal. Had to come out of the car park, managed 2 ramps no problem and got to the bottom of the exit road to find an impossible dip and immediately a raised section to the road. There was only ever going to be one outcome. Tried the best angle I could and scraped the front bumper resulting in a bit of paint removal and crack.
Yes it can be fixed and yes my car is low. The rescepionist told me that a bus had problems the other day....... well filled in a form and will be claiming off them.
Oh bugger, buggery, bugger :badmood:

and none of it was car related :d:p
even caught some rays on my roof :)
Yeah nice weekend in the sun. The yard cat came out to play and we also met the yard mouse today. James gave it a right talking to about nicking his chocolate. ;)
First bbq of the year as well. MMMmmm now having a cider in preparation for back to school tomorrow, first time in 3mths.

Hahaa, well glad you caught some rays on your roof man :D Keep you going for a while then eh? lol
Glad it was good, and lol, I usually have the most fun when it is car related :) :p
Though I must admit, when I go to put my bucket seats in, I'm going to have much complaining from the cat as he has now taken them to be his new bed :complain: Damn cats eh? :p
But other than lots of pain and damn leg not working, I've been good as I've managed to rewire the normal horn in Katt (the lude) so it works again and bypasses the relay, but I did forget to put the fuse in so that'll be a job for tomorrow I guess!!

So then, what's the plans for this weekend???
Mine actually started at 4pm today as I have Friday off :D
Friday = drop car to wheel refurbishers:), take my wife into Southampton to buy some diamond earrings:innocent:, then apparently I'm getting dragged round Ikea for an hour (or four) :(, back to pick up car in the afternoon, then off out for dinner
Saturday = figure out what I need to rig iPod into my mates new Mazda , then sport & beer all afternoon :salute:
Sunday = Errrrrr......more sport & beer I reckon!
Monday (which I'm going to sneak into the weekend as I only have to work a couple of hours in the morning) = car getting a full valet, so the paintwork and interior may actually match up to the refurbed alloys :)

As fir mah weekend plans, I'm just going to do some more work on the rear bumper, will get there eventually, but just got to sort out a load of mild imperfections in it, but stil quite impressed with how it's turned out so far for my first use of filler :)
And I shall also be playing with some wiring bits and installing new buttons and toys into Katt :D Heheee, stealth buttons, hidden away with funky powers!!!!!! heheheheheheheheheheheheheheeeeeeee Crazy's gonna go craaaazzzzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bit worried about our poor old rotti as she's got a tumor on her leg and had a biopsy done today. If its malignant doesn't look good for her. Fingers crossed that its all ok.

Got to finish off servicing the Passat this morning (as an aside, who the feck designed the air filter housing like that and then put it at an angle against the wing????? :().
Once that's done, new boost gauge for the C70 (& maybe 470cc green injectors if they arrive).
Other than that, beer & pizza & much watching of sport to be done this weekend.

Fecks sake! When did German's get so cheap on parts? The reason the headlamp leveller doesn't work? Because the cheap and nasty nylon cog has perished and lost most of its teeth. Bastid thing, lets hope my comedy fix works, else I need a new headlight to replace what looks to be a 10p part.
Oh well, at least it's sunny out here!

Are you sure the headlamp leveller isn't french? :)
Another wedding this weekend to go to and lets hope a few drinks as well as its only round the corner. Another weekend to clear up the house and get it ready to get sold, might take a little bit longer to sort out the front of the house and get the exa moved. ;)

This weekend is going to be, frankly, rubbish.
My car is still here, so every time I go out the house I get reminded of the damage to that. But, even worse, my dad died on the 24th February this year and Sunday is father's day. Deep joy :(
