I feel this should be put into the meet's section for consideration :P... we need a sub-section entitled 'Black Ops' for rare occasions such as this :P

Ang

Been a top favourite of mine since it was released. Still ranks up there with the best and newest of them IMO.

There's a copy hanging around Hastings, but some chav has bought a GSi and stuck the kit and wheels on it I think, doesn't seem to be a real one.

Yeh but strangely, only a couple of scumbarus! Ahem, I mean subarus :)

I don't think we even bothered looking at the MR2's in the end, probably didn't have time! There were loads of Primera's and Almera's too which suprised me..

Like grey squirrels, you catch one and destroy it :p When the camaro goes and we have room at the workshop I can see us introducing another car to the private fold, fancy another toy seeing at the gto needs to come off the road to give it some tlc.

Fancy a Peugeot? Lovely car, one careful owner and in great condition. I hear that the diesel estates are amazing cars to drive, most fun you can have in a car :innocent:

Ang

Got a peugeot, 306 t reg, silver, 1.9 td, nice condition. £200 and in lovely condition.:p Going to use it to get to school and back. Drove it last night for the first time as had to pick Zoe up and with about 10 speed ramps was not going to risk the lude.

My first peugeot I've driven . I have to say it was rather a nice drive, nice and nippy as well, quite impressed.

As you can see not one to follow the crowd :not:

Ang
03-08-2009, 10:47 AM
...............besides it will make Zoe's day if we get a scooby :D I can see us buying one that needs work as usual. If we buy one that is running fine it will probably go bang in about 2 weeks

Peugeot still make those and sell them in Egypt out of interest - they have tried to release the 406 and 7 but the 405 is still the best seller! (up until a couple of years ago at least)

"Even today, the story of the 405 has not ended. The 405 continues production in Egypt, where a 92hp, 1.6L four is the only powerplant option."

Fancy helping me with doing this sometime??? :d:d:eyes:

I have sparkplugs, will have plug leads too, but don't know what else is needed. I have a switch too which is one that I'd want to use, a nice little one, same as the one I use for my aerial on demand.

Had it on an old van of mine but that was set up by the guy who did the engine install for me too.

Sooo wanna get one installed on the lude :D

He kept it so quiet from me as he knew I would get soooo excited........... its now got a prelude radiator in and going to see a manta bod at the weekend to get some extra bits as it was stripped out. Got a lot from the black manta.

When you do the lude cambelt do check the tensioner bearings they can fail. Found genuine honda cambelt and balancer belts actually a great price so worth checking out.

I dunno why, but that's what the Honda garage said, it did seem a little strange to me but ah well, that's what the garage said =/ Would love to be able to do it myself but don't know enough about engines (or have the ability to stand long enough) to do it :p

They couldn't get it onto the lift cos of the side skirts, so I'm just gonna cut them down I think cos I've had this a LOT!! :(

Gonna see about getting in touch with a local garage and see how much it'll cost for the oil and cambelt change with them. Beginning to think it may have been a sign though saying that I don't need to get the cambelt done as it may be alright still.

Oooooooh, Mad Max motor :) heheee Mmmmm, that's totally awesome :D Can't wait to see the Manta though, such gorgeous motors :D
