You've not asked Honda for a replacement JDM headlamp for your lude have you? LOL They're about £200 each  The pound being weak combined with the shipping and everything else means it all costs a fortune.

And yea, I'm still here man, just been busy at work these days, back doing full time hours again, and trying relentlessly to get the Kangoo fixed. Keeping an eye on here from time to time :)

Cool, how's it going being back full time? What is it you do? And are I ask about the Kangoo? Hope it's not draining you too much :(

I looked at new headlamps for the Supra as the chrome paint inside is peeling very badly. £300 each! :(

Tiring especially as it's at the Christmas period now :( I work in an O2 shop selling phones - exciting eh? lol

I've just had to spend £1000 on a new gearbox and fitting for it cos the barsteward insurance said they wouldn't pay out. Half the stuff on it doesn't work either anymore. I've still got another £3k to spend to try and get it back all functional :( Then got the smashed body work to try and fix

I hate this thing :(

And ouch, £300 per lamp, that's just harsh!!! eBay?? lol

Shit dude, sorry to hear that :( How did the insurance weasel out of it? They're bastards, they really are, you're better off buying privately and saving yourself some money.

Gonna get rid once it's all fixed or keep it and try and get some money's worth?

Unfortunately the UK lamps are glass and the JDM's are plastic and go yellow. UK's are very hard to find as there weren't many of them and the JDM ones aren't as good. I'm probably going to rip them apart and spray them up when the weather improves in the spring, you can make them look pretty good with some patience.

Insurance said that they didn't believe the damage was caused by the accident, but because I DIDN'T make a claim, but had it picked up and delivered, I lost my no claims bonus so I am leaving to Canada next year as I won't be able to afford to insure a car without my no claims so pissed off about that to say the least.

Can't sell it in its current state, just gonna run it into the ground, all I can do really with it now :( just totally sucks :( Great way to lose a few grand eh?

Ahhh, that sucks about the cheapness of the JDM ones, taking them apart sounds a good idea to me, maybe colour code them?

I think red will look mega tacky, but I'm going to go gun metal grey to match my wheels. Seen them done that colour before and they look great!

Not sure I understand why you lost your no claims if you didn't claim??

Cos Admiral suck balls, that's why. Apparantly you only get the car taken to the garage free on recovery truck, so if you don't get it repaired, it costs Admiral lots of money so I either had to fork out loads or lose my no claims

And yea, I would drive it like that too, gives somewhere for the heat of the engine to escape lol
