I have pulled most of this from my posts over on the MK IV Supra club, as it will save me a lot of typing, so enjoy but please be patient and i will copy and edit it in sections:)
History, my supra was a fresh import in 05, came with a TRD spoiler, Rays-Volk wheels and an exhaust+ an ice install, no other mods.
So after two years of ownership i decided it was time to put more of my mark on it, so i purchased a JDL body kit fro a Polish company, and got cracking:)
I am no stranger to every part of car modding and have experience of bodywork and spraying, so although it may look daunting to some, its not quite so bad for me.
Edit: Also bare in mind that this all took place in Sept to Nov 2007 so it over a year old.
Spent the afternoon doing the first fit of some bits of my new kit, not to bad a fit, seen lots worse, it will take a bit of fettling, but i think it will look OK looks strange in black and white,

This is the JDL kit, and the general look i wanted, however mine is completely blended, so does not have the panel lines.

and its surprisingly good quality mouldings considering the pricehttp://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/images/smilies/smile_new.gif
Here is the progress so far, haven't fitted a kit for a while, just remembered how much works involved.

Took the car down the spray shop on Monday and started dismantling and masking, sprayed it Tuesday and finished putting it back together yesterday, still need to nib and Polish the whole thing and fit the spoiler, + a couple of other bits, the new wheels won't go on just yet.http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb118/Tricky-Ricky13/Kit01004.jpg

This is a pic with the spoiler fitted and the new wheels on, in some ways i think they look slightly smaller than the originals.

That car is a real credit to you - amazing what you have done next to what looks like a busy road! Engine bay looks brilliant. What sort of power have you got?
You certainly did do a good job with that kit. I do remember seeing those photos but not seen the engine bay, lots of time and effort gone into that.

Thanks guys, Yes a lot of time and effort, the misses says obsessed, or was that posessed;) mind you i don't think I'll do another;) thinks American muscle.
Power wise I'm not sure, not been on a RR since its been done, but its quite quick for a lardy beast.
