oh yes, when i logged on this evening there was something on my homepage, (sky.com) that caught my eye. Pics from this months motor show in frankfurt, (at least i think it was frankfurt!), anyway there were quite a few pics of some lovely looking cars, like a new audi r8 v10 spyder! very nice, new rolls royce ghost, some kias, (woo!), anyway, worth a look. Obviously me being a vw nut when i saw this, i had to share my sadness with others!! the new golf r. check it out...

That looks good, Not sure on the wheels. My only things i dont like, which is all just the new golf, the sirocco looks just like it on the front, and from the rear at least it looks just like the old one.
I do like them tho, and i wouldnt turn down one, interiors are nice, and what i like is the towbar, its easy to fit :) (im a part-time towbar fitter lol)

That golf looks like the GTI - W12 650 that they made a prototype of in the last shape. I think it looks quite nice!

Didnt the W12 have flying c-pillars?

I dont know, I cant find a pic! I know it was rear engined and was based on one of the recent VW built Lambo's. It had massive side engine air intakes aswell which made it look pretty mean!

Yeh, the intakes were part of the flying c-pillars?
Edited to add: That was easy - http://www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/evocarreviews/210202/volkswagen_golf_gti_w12650.html
