Well it almost went to the breakers but as James said its sat now for years and not rusted and that's justification to save her! Some project to do. She was my nan's car, then my mum's and then mine. She was a 1.4 auto and converted by James to a 1.8 16v, excellent fun to drive :D

Sadly now needing another engine but here we go, some of you have seen this poor thing........

But I can see rust from here! And that's from 40 miles away, it is French though so to be expected I suppose ;)

sentimental reasons.......... being female. Though as we are giving up the workshop for a larger plan it may have to go as the thought of losing the gto is too much to bear.............. mmmmmm mk3 spitfire, manta, exa, prelude and gto should be enough to keep oh and the recovery truck round the corner...........boy the neighbours are going to love us. Lets hope we can sell :innocent:

God knows this is getting a hard decision as we still can't face doing it, James keeps casting his eye over that honda 2.2 sir vtec engine spare and you can guess where he wants to put it. Not an easy decision..............anyone want to help us do a renault clio vtec? Would save a car that is extemely sentimental to me...............

Hahaaa, I'd be up for helping on that :) Don't really know much about engine swaps on ECU'd cars though to be honest. But will certainly be fun none the less :eyes:

Sadly the lack of space has meant that the clio is going, James has now made sure we can't change our minds. Very sad but like he's said if the gold manta doesn't go we need the space to put a 2.0 litre engine and manual gearbox into it and he found a likely turbo which he showed me today.

OMG found James and his mate shooting at it the other day! Still waiting on the back of the truck to go! Poor car............ if you need anything be quick and ask.
