Well, it must be that time again, especially now we have some sort of nice weather!
Somewhere a bit different this time, further West probably. Find a nice big pub car park with a pub that does good pub grub.
Who's interested and when are people available?? :)

I was beginning to think this too to be honest. Like the idea of something further west, could be cool :)
And I dunno when I'm available, all depends on if / when I get back to work.

It'll be a weekend I expect as that tends to suit the most people, Saturday afternoon/Sunday lunch are always good bets?

Yeah, they sound cool. If I'm back at work, no chance I can do a Saturday, but if I'm still off can probably drag my crippled ass out for a day :p lol
Just a thought but what about the Eastbourne motor show that's on 11th and 12th July?

£4 entry and children under 14 free?

Ah, good call Ang.. I've never made it to that yet, so could be a good one.
What do people think?

Sounds pretty cool, does that mean we can get to see your car Stavros if we get down?

Certainly does :D
Certainly does :D
Cool, what day you going down then?
God men :eyes:;):p....... decisions..........now looks like may be off to a manta meet on Sunday in Cowfold if those guys can actually decide on a time, got both mantas to get out.
Well had an enjoyable meet with the manta people on Sunday, lovely pub, drink and pizza outside in a nice country beer garden. Nice to see meet some new people as well.
I am volunteering a meet down Maccas end for a pub meet and get together as he is so close to that sea. Now I know a few don't like to post up but may come out for a drink, not a problem we can get that sorted. You don't have to post up to come along. You don't even have to be a driver or in a posh car..........now I sound like that awful car insurance advert ;)
I am guilty too of being very busy, school, trying to move and get our lives sorted so I understand. Have to say though I am getting withdrawal symptoms from petrol. :)

My car is hardly posh.. You should see it at the moment, paint falling off everywhere, covered in dirt (being used as a work car at the mo and costing me a fortune) and the interior is plastered with rubbish, callout sheets, macdonalds wrappers etc.
Shameful :(
Sorry I missed the replies to this thread, does that mean I'm supposed to be sorting out a meet then?!
We're going up to Lydden Hill for the bank holiday on 31st. It seems a good sensible choice.
Got to start now thinking ahead for September. Though I shall be heading up to Castle Coombe for rally day

19th September - hope I make it in one piece, and the car
We are coming down your way on Sunday for the air show, not made it before, any good places to stop for a picnic and watch?

Not sure, I've never made it before either. I've already seen the Red Arrows twice flying low and close range over Hastings, very cool :)
Spoke to the guys in Eastbourne earlier and they said anywhere near the seafront is just bedlum today, expect tomorrow will be worse. I'll try and find out where's good to watch from, but anyway a bit inland and up a hill should be good. The road towards Beachey Head would probably give you a great view of the fly-bys etc.
