Selling my car to some dude abroad???

I've got some dude interested in my car but he's from Belgum - is it hard selling a car that is going to be taken abroad??

Any advice from anyone (cos personally I'd rather not sell it abroad if it's gonna be hard)

I would ask him if he is going to bring cash in £ and collect the car. If he does its not a problem. You fill in the V5 and give it to him, he will need this. You take I think off hand the brown section of the other part of the V5 and get a letter enclosed with it stating who you have sold to and send to DVLA. Job done.

If you accept bank transfer, wired, you need to get the codes from the bank and bear in mind that banks outside the UK will charge the sender money so this needs to be taken into account. Paypal is better but check the costs and add it on.

Make sure you send accurate photos of the car and good description. Other than that its not too bad.
