Hi guys, I've been hammering GT5 Prologue on the PS3 lately and now have only 1 manufacturer's cup left to do, bloody TVRs are pants!

Thought I'd fire up a new thread to see if anyone else is playing GT and if so find out if anyone has managed to set up a Tuscan Speed Six so that it can drag its sorry fat arse round Suzuka in a respectable time!

I know that track inside out, it's great fun with a Ford GT but TVRs are boring and utterly useless!

I've not played the latest GT.

On a sidenote, have you ever had the oppertunity to drive a Tuscan? You wouldn't find that so boring! :D Scary cars..

I've never driven any kind of TVR, I should imagine they are not at all boring! I figure they might spontaniously combust or randomly pile into a tree, but that's all part of the excitement!

If the Gran Turismo representation is anything to go by, they must be a pig to drive fast though.

GT have always included TVRs, most have been really hard to handle, like the Tuscan Speed 12 for example!

I'm not suggesting there is any comaprison between a driving simulator and the real thing, but on my PS3 I have a marvelous garage of lovely things that I will never get to drive in real life!

Did anyone see Jeremy Clarkson comparing the NSXR around Laguna Seca to his GT time?

I didn't think for a minute you were making a comparison, just making chit chat.

You have completely hit the nail on the head though! I test drove one (can be very good at chatting to salesmen when I want to) from Dream Machines in Heathfield out through some nice B-roads. It was lovely, nice interior and sounded amazing. But by 100mph I was shitting bricks because it was bouncing from side to side along the flat straight road trying to jump in to a hedge

The best thing was, when I looked round it the back of one of the seats was hanging off, and kept falling off whenever pushed back on. Then when I drove it the LCD display kept throwing up fuel injection faults. All the salesman could say was "well it is a TVR, you expect that!". Hmmmm!

I'd give my left testacle to have a go in the Speed 12, what a machine
