View Full Version : My Project: Nissan exa, turbo project
This is probably the only Nissan Exa 1.8 in the country, its from Australia. The whole tailgate comes off and different ones put on. It has the ca18de engine it it.
It now has a T26 hybrid turbo on it and should prove an awful lot of fun. It just needs now s14 ecu and injectors so if anyone does have any pm me with condition and price. Car does run but need these for improved performance.

James has been slowly doing a few jobs to this really unusual and rare car (in the UK). He was a little surprised to find a funnel web in it and started to tease the spider. Seeing as it is an Australian import we thought there was always a chance of an invader........... think its a uk house spider. Pretty impressive though. :)
Anyway enjoy the new modification. Aimed to keep theives out of the engine bay:eyes:

Never heard of one before and its unusual to say the least! They make good power as standard?

It was imported from Aus and has a 1.8 ca18de engine, similar engine to the ca18det engine found in the 200sx s13. Its a lightweight car but only about 140bhp, currently sitting waiting for a few extra parts but been too busy with a few distractions........its definitly an individual car. Sometimes known as a pulsar I belive?

Look forward to the progress, nice project! I think pulsar's are the imported Sunny's
I think some of the sunny zx parts fit? So many different names?
Finally work has been underway over the last couple of weeks. The engine has been out and laying all around the patio and car port (great for house viewing:no:). Let's hope its up and running soon, looks like James has been mix and matching engine wise :eyes:
James was dancing around very happy today with a ca18det head on the ca18de engine and the t28 hybrid turbo on (so I gather). He had it turning over today. Let's see what happens next:D
Wow after a VERY lucky break in finding the resistor we wanted James has finally got the car running and making ready for the mot. Sounds quite promising and lets see what this little beast does:eyes:
