....of a decent exhaust fabricator down south?
I need (although Mrs Hammy would say want) a custom 3" downpipe. The standard method for my car is to spend £640 on the Ferrita item, which I frankly think is excessive!
Ideally I'd want a mandrel bent, 3" DP with either a sportscat permanently fitted, or a decat pipe and a couple of v-bands.
Any offers?
I am sure we can help make something up, my other half James makes up all sorts of exhaust systems for our projects. If you are likely to come up to our first meet he can have a look? Certainly will be a lot cheaper. If not I am sure there will be other recommendations. :d

I'd stay away from the Powerflow places but otherwise I'm not sure of others in the South. There is one very well known firm whose name eludes me at the moment that are very very good at custom exhausts though may not be that cheap.
Blueflame/Mongoose (same company) also do custom work but I'm not sure where they are based.
Problem is that not many people have a decent mandrel bender for 3" pipework..

At a guess the other company is H&S, but it's best to be sitting down before getting a quote from them :D
Best I go and check the date of the meet :D
James was saying you can buy a massive range of pipe secions in a big variety of bend that can be welded neatly together. The bends cost about £30 a section. It's an option? It's worth looking into with the prices quoted. Again only a thought.:)

Yes, H&S, Hayward and Scott. Just couldn't remember it! They are very good, but as you say you'll definitely be needing a chair :(
