So many I like, but to choose one would be hard

Something inherently cool about an old Mk1/2 Escort.. I love the Mk1 Toyota Celica, Mk2 Toyota Supra and have had a Mk1 MR2 which is very retro and a very nice car..

Ooooh decisions!!

Things like the Supra and RX7 I think are quite timeless shapes and still look new today, but others like the Skylines are showing their age. The R32 is already looking a bit 'retro' now.

I suppose retro is just everything that's not currently 'in' really, though some things do have a more timeless look that doesn't age them as much as others.

Another vote for the last version of the RX7.

I'm currently loving the new Audi S5, has a bit of retro look to it IMO.

If you had to buy a retro car :pah:. IF!! Manta (V8 favourite). Old school MK1 RS2000. Ford Capri. Rover SD1. Talbot sunbeam. Mazda 323 1.6 turbo.

Think in the future retro RX7 I agree, Toyota celica gt4 st185 (?), honda prelude 2.2si vtec (shape wise now looking old but love it). Nissan 200sx s13. MR2 turbo. Looking at the new shapes of cars I feel this lot, who can say. Cars with character.

There's a guy at the Nurburgring (Dale), has an entire field full of those Alfa's, stripped out and track ready that you can rent/get tuition in. Mad as a binful of badgers!!

i supply parts to rusper alfa and emc raceing who both have 75s all race tuned .. they are great cars with a 3.0 engine and 220 bhp all ready to be tuned .. also near 50/50 weight distribution the rear brake disks are right up near the rear box :)

A 205gti - but that isn't really old enough to be retro is it?

IF I could afford it, a nice late seventies Corvette would be great.

Ford Capri 2.8L V6,

Always liked these but never dreamed of owning one. I had to make do with a Mk 1 Escort 1300 GT ;)

It would have to be a Jensen Interceptor - love the sound

...if one of those wasnt avaliable then i'de happily settle with original GT40 or AC cobra :) Ta v.much :D

However, if we are talking in reality terms then a MK2 golf gti, renault 5 gt turbo, mercedes cosworth... the list goes on :D

Loved the Capris, and was going to get one but I got the lude instead.

For me, I'd have to say it'd be something like one of these:

But my all time favourite retro car is this: 1951 Chevrolet Deluxe - this one owned by the stunningly gorgeous and awesome Kat Von D :)
