Well I'm happy as I've got a lovely rear lip for Katt that I've sanded down, getting rear bumper and front bumper tomorrow to again, sand down and then going to play around with some filler and give Katt a new body kit :D

I'm happy as I'm "working from home" today and am going to see a good friend tomorrow who also happens to be the best mechanic I know and has a pile of parts sat in his garage waiting to go onto my car. Then, on Friday, my alloy wheels are being completely refurbed, followed by a full valet for the car on Monday. Ok, so the fairly major wallet-lightening involved in all this isn't really good, but at least it's not going on bills :D
I was sent this today by someone at school, it made me smile :D
Below is the message that the Maroochydore High School Queensland staff voted unanimously to record on their school telephone answering machine . This came about because they implemented a policy requiring students and parents to be responsible for their children's absences and missing homework. The school and teachers are being sued by parents who want their children's failing grades changed to passing grades - even though those children were absent 15-30 times during the semester and did not complete enough school work to pass their classes.
The outgoing message:
Hello! You have reached the automated answering service of your school. In order to assist you in connecting to the right staff member, please listen to all the options before making a selection:
To lie about why your child is absent - Press 1
To make excuses for why your child did not do his work - Press 2
To complain about what we do - Press 3
To swear at staff members - Press 4
To ask why you didn't get information that was already enclosed in your
newsletter and
several flyers mailed to you - Press 5
If you want us to raise your child - Press 6
If you want to reach out and touch, slap or hit someone - Press 7
To request another teacher, for the third time this year - Press 8
To complain about bus transportation - Press 9
To complain about school lunches - Press 0
If you realize this is the real world and your child must be Accountable and
responsible for his/her own behaviour, class work, homework and that it's
not the teachers' fault for your child's lack of effort: Hang up and have a
nice day!
If you want this in another language, move to a country that speaks it.

Vtec fun for the last days on the way to work!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D Excellent fun and goes where I want it to.
More fun driving behind the google street view car. Now that was pure fun (hoping I wasn't in it mind you) watching people's faces as they realised and the obscene gestures that were made.
:upyours::tosser::new_silly:
Gave me a few chuckles in the car stuck in the traffic jam.

Been busy all morning, new tyres on back of Passat, shopping etc etc.
Went out for a blast in the C70 which was good, up until the drivers side front pad started squealing like a pig. Calipers not sticking, must be something stuck on the pad face as it only happens when the brakes are off (so must be feathering the disc), soon as you apply the brakes it stops. Would go and sort it, but I have plans for this afternoon.
Ho-hum, something to do tomorrow after it's been for its MOT I guess.
Have never laughed so much for ages until last night. Took the manta v8 out and decided to be the driver for my mates hen party for a few of the girls ;)
Bunch of girls, v8 manta and the dixie horns was priceless last night. Centre of crawley several rows of traffic, miserable cow with her window open in the car next to us, the dixie horn had to be done. Never seen so many people laugh so much, miserable cow just turned round and looked, well, miserable. The kids crossing the road all roared in approval.
I have never had so much childish fun in letting people cross the road and then to press the horns, made so many people cheer and laugh last night it. Got a few requests to do a pub drive by so ended up with a few people filming last night.
Never realised how addictive those horns are :innocent:
