Some people have suggested this on LudeBehaviour and I thought I'd suggest it on here too.
How many people would be up for a weekend trip over to the Nurburgring for a bit of fun?
Leave on a Saturday morning, get the ferry across, drive across through to Nurburgring, do say 5 - 10 laps, and then go to the pub afterwards and find a hotel or travel inn somewhere to stay in. Next day, head out for some more laps and then drive back.
I was thinking later in the year, September / October / November time, so plenty of time to plan and to get more work done on the cars ;) LudeBehavior is looking at around October time, so maybe a multiclub outing?
Other halves are welcome of course, and I will hopefully be bringing my other half (and having great fun scaring her half to death in the passenger seat)
So what do people think about this then? Also, any input from anyone who has been to the ring would ao be good.
