the guy who runs autorestore dropped these in to work today just to have them stripped so he can re-furb or re-paint them or something, i dont know.

in this one they are next to a 175/70r14 from a nissan of some sort. just so you can get an idea of the size!
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww113/stealthtuning/DSC00038.jpg
they're like fecking rubber bands!!! and they're falkens
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww113/stealthtuning/DSC00037.jpg
getting them clamped on the machine was bloody tricky!
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww113/stealthtuning/DSC00040.jpg
once the beads are lubed, the head is bought into place. that is always a real arse clenching moment!!!:not:
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww113/stealthtuning/DSC00041.jpg
then the lever goes in. thats when you begin to stain your pants! if it slips then thats a nasty dink in an expensive wheel!!
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww113/stealthtuning/DSC00042.jpg
it took three of us to push the rest of the tyre down far enough to get the bead over the head!
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww113/stealthtuning/DSC00043.jpg
but once its over, thats pretty much the battle won!
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww113/stealthtuning/DSC00044.jpg
then the second bead comes up easy,
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww113/stealthtuning/DSC00045.jpg
then there you go!!!, easy!!!
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww113/stealthtuning/DSC00046.jpg
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww113/stealthtuning/DSC00039.jpg
i noticed this warning on the inside of the wheel. check out the brilliant spelling mistake!!!:p

This tyre de-mounting was done on the brilliant corghi ac2025 with all the singing and dancing attatchments!!! and i must confess, i only helped with the removal. it was actually T4mark who took them off. as you can see, he got a little too excited!!!!!!!!!!:p

Lol.. you wait until I see him tomorrow ;)

Good old Corghi's eh. Who would believe the Italians could be something with mechanicals and electrics in one thing that actually works!! :innocent:

What the hell were they off anyway? They're massive, and very multi-spoked

Success!!! i managed to log in!!!:D Right then, they are off of a new beetle cabrio. the car is the same colour as the spokes, its been completely smoothed off and slammed right domn. Looks fecking awesome. very tastefully done! almost looks like a lowrider!
