motorfactors have the right to the block exemption law ... what this means is that motorfactors can sell car parts for any cars and garages ..also access to the data needed (fault codes etc)
the main dealers are trying to get this law revoked in 2010!!
if they succeed it will mean thousands of garages and factors closeing and most cars being repaired by main dealers at main dealer prices! :eek:

Done it :) It would be an awful thing for the economy if this happened so I doubt it would become law. You never know :rolleyes:, don't want to think about the consequences.

I've done it too, but I'm with Ang and very much doubt this will ever happen. They changed the law recently to allow all cars to be serviced at any garage so it wouldn't affect the manufacturers warranty, I don't see them making a huge u-turn and going down this route.

i was gonna say pls post on other forums ..
the reason is because main dealers cars arent selling and they need to cover the loss else where

clicked and signed. i hadnt heard about this untill now and it is a bloody stupid thing to do. the government get thier money either which way so whats the point????:tosser:

it all leeds to a unity .. eg ..say tescos..
they become the leading food shop and eliminate all competitors ..by adding clothes , oil, cds, mobile phones , etc ..soon you will have your car from them lol....
then they abolish cash .. until u need the nwo card to live ..or ur out of the club ;)
