Had it on a classified ad and then while that was running decided to run an auction. My god what a response. Bidders in all sorts of different countries and seeming to be pretty legitimate. 40 watchers in 1 day! :)

I have it up for £5000 ono. It was a difficult one to price but we need it sold as we need room for the mantas at the moment. Hence its a good price.

Can't believe the amount of watcher, up to 52 and bidding now from France, Slovenia, Malta and Sweden as well as the UK. :D Fingers crossed she goes to a good home. Had a lot of calls now.

My god, 82 watchers now and removed one bidder. It is staying with us forever if it doesn't reach its reserve as its too nice.:D

Well it looks like she will be staying :D. Lots of people wanting and a couple of more calls after but the cash isn't coming. Can't let her go for silly money. Looks like it will a his and hers V8.

I am quite relieved. It looks likely though that my prelude will have to be sold, I can't justify having that many cars, must keep the gto over the lude. Also have a spare 2.2sir engine and box.

Woooo!! :D That's cool you get to keep her, as I always thought you'd put in too much time and effort into the resto to just sell her :)

Shame about selling your lude though, can't you keep her garaged or parked up somewhere? Or just find a stupidly childish reason for keeping them both? Like they're too much fun? :p

I don't know what to do really as so many personal cars, we'll have to see how space goes in the yard. Got to get the 200sx up and running and sold. Got another manta to sort out but waiting for the v5. Got a few mates cars down the yard (4 in total ). Clearing the old clio and mazda to get space back.

The reason I wanted to keep her in the first place was because the J plate 2.2si vtec where the first of the line of jdm cars to come in the country. Many of the 4th generation ludes are starting to go bang through years of abuse and I think they will be worth serious money some day. I know I will kick myself if I sell her.

I second that - there isn't a car that I've sold that I haven't regretted selling. Actually, that's a lie; the "sensible" cars I've had I haven't regretted getting rid of. It's the fun ones that I've bought for me rather than my bank balance that I've regretted selling, each and every one.

The space isn't so much an issue for me, more the car tax!
