At work

Customer's who blame us for items that go wrong on their car's after a service regardless of the fact the service was conducted two years ago and the item in question bares no relation to the service conducted.

People who moan about other people not doing their job's correctly when they themselves are shite at doing their own job!

People who mistreat car's then when it goes wrong blames the manufacturer despite the fact that the failure of the vehicle is a direct result of the mistreatment that they have done!

On the road

People who drive with their full beams on whilst they are driving straight towards on coming traffic.

People who drive along with lights out at night.

People who drive a million miles an hour with a space saver fitted.

People who feel it necessary to sit an inch from your back bumper, although this usually doesn't stay like this for long ;)

People who drive along in the middle lane at 60 mph when the inside lane is empty but the outside lane is too busy to get into so the driver behind, usually me!, can get into the outside lane to overtake.

In supermarkets

People who feel it necessary to conduct a half hour conversation with someone they know who they haven't seen since they last went shopping, this usually occurs right across an isle. :rolleyes:

People who leave a trolley across a parking space when the store is busy!

That will do until I can think of anymore! :p

Managed to get one the other day from a breakers for 50squid luckily. Had a tyre too but on further inspection it had a sodding great egg in the sidewall :( Cheers though!

The stupid woman drivng her large CRV in the middle of a very small road, meaning the COURTESY car I was driving lost its wing mirror and got some niiiiice scratches down the side! Fortunately didnt hit her car, and no one was hurt. She still had the cheek to shout at me though!!! :no::(

I know that feeling had a woman in a people carrier behind me. I can't remember what I was driving but we came to some lights and I slowed down and stopped. Felt a tiny nudge and thought nothing about it. In the queue of traffic it happened again. The third time it was a larger nudge and flung me forward. I got out the car and marched straight up to her and said to her "once and accident, twice possibly an accident but 3 times!!!

My car was unmarked but what a t**t.

After a sleepless night due to my daughter having a temperature I have now got another one to put up. Children's painkillers! Why on earth do they have to have sugar free when they taste so vile. It makes me wonder if they have tried in the early hours to give a child medicine. It was even worse when she was younger. :rolleyes:

Things that pi$$ me right off are my damn side skirts at the moment. Booked my car in for cambelt change and oil change and the garage couldn't even get my car on one lift because of the side skirts, and the other lift wouldn't work because the side skirts would have been crushed as they cover the liftng points over!!

That now makes 5 garages unable to lift, or struggling hard with lifting my car.
- Spiggot rings place 1
- Spiggot rings place 2
- Tyre place
- Suspension work
- Honda garage

Just soo tempted to go out there and attack them with a dremmel and some fibreglass goopy stuff one of these days. Keep the top half on and remove the lower scrapy half :P

Oh, and another thing................. a "mate"!! Been slagging my car off as a ricer machine on his forum and useless cos its FWD, BUT I have managed to get an apology out of most of the other who insulted it now :)

you will find that with alot of other car forums ... cos they have never owned a honda v-tec they will slag it off cos the only thing they understand is turbo this turbo that ive owned an r reg sx touring and tbh i got bored with it pritty rappid you should stick a vauxhall corsa sx up there :D..after all ..its the sxoc lol:cool:

I agree. From experience many of them rag around the car without understanding turbo or engine care. That's why we don't touch them at all now. We have a 200sx s13 auto in nice condition and have a spare engine but reluctant to sell it on as no doubt someone will blow it up so may end up keeping it, not sure.

The 200sx engines are pretty weak. Yes they are blinding fun to drive and quick buggers.

Of all the choice of cars we've had I have kept the lude for a reason. That vtec kicking in and the sound is excellent. Yes I could sell all our cars and get one "decent" one but just can't do it.

Watching the news the other day I think it will come to the point where people will be given cash incentives to scrap their "old" cars. Problem being is once signed over to the breakers they won't sell them on necessarily as they don't see a value. This will push the value of cars like the prelude 4th generation amongst many up for sure.

Besides once that turbo has been sorted :innocent:

Unfortunately that's the problem with a lot of these car clubs. I developed a new level of understanding what "knowing your car" is all about with the Canadian / American car clubs where they actually build the car from the chassis up, modifying the chassis, doing custom work on the engine and doing all this usually themselves!!!

I guess that's because they actually have shop classes where they rebuild cars and everything like that from the age of 15! Wish we had that over here :(

And yeah, SPH is gonna be cool cos of that as you say Mark :) Plus we're Southerners, so that's always good :D LOL

Some one has been slanderous and taken something that I said out of context upsetting and upset my gf. It is one thing to insult a car but another all together to damage a wonderful relationship.

Please note: I did not say anything to upset his gf, just showed her the thread of him slagging Katt off, she then looked at his posts and found what he's talking about. And do I seem the relationship disrupting / destroying / upsetting kind of person?

Personally I wouldn't post up here. I still can't see how they can justify the comments. That is the problem many times over with specialist clubs.

I wasn't expecting to read that slating. Preludes have held their values far better than an sx of the same age and mechanically far better.

Genuinely, she found what he said cos I don't really bother, but yes, he does know me. Went to school with him (was in the year above me) and dates a very good friend of mine now.

I'm not having a go at all guys, but please don't start bringing bad feelings and issues from other forums on here. We're a seperate and hopefully very different place.

I'd rather there weren't comments here that would be a 'red rag to a bull' as it were and act as an open invitation for others to come on here spoiling for a fight.

I would just like to say that I am not trying to start anything or bring issues or bad feelings from forums to here, just my "mate" who is starting all this, and it is between him and me, not his club.

I have edited my posts to remove the name of the club as that was not the best idea to include that.

New thing though - why on EARTH do they make dog toys that ABSORB dog slobber???? WHYYYY!!!! My leg is now soaked from a slobbery stuffed penguin :(

Ooooooooh, I've finally come up with an awesome one (getting back on track)

There are only 2 drugs that help with the pain from my accident and 1 is weed (well, told it would help by the docs :rolleyes: but I don't use that) and a drug called gabapentin.

So I take the gabapentin stuff to help with the pain.............except.............it has major laxative effects :(:(

Why do they give people drugs that have that side effect? Is there some guy in a lab having a right laugh at everyone sitting on the toilet or something?? :(

Nasty! Unusual too as most painkillers will clog you up. Surely they've given you something to help counter the laxitive effect? Some of the anti-emetics have those side effects as will opiates like codeine which is also a mild painkiller.

Nope, just taking immodium to help counteract the side effects. Kinda sucks when you have a bad back and struggle to get up at times and you're having to go to the loo loads :(

Might be because it's a neuropathic pain killer, not muscularture. Dunno but I say this to my damn back :pah:

They can still give you something to counteract it surely. You shouldn't be in that situation.

Have you asked, and asked again, and then demanded that they do something a bit more helpful? In my vast experience of hospitals you have to ask quite a lot and quite loudly sometimes until somebody actually sits up and helps you!

Everything at the moment............................................ ........

- Car - everything seems to be causing hassle at the moment, lost 14bhp after a service and running on V-power, exhaust has come off, side skirts are broken from where some a$$ pulled out of a parking bay and hit me and then drove off!!!!

- Friends - well the one I was gonna stay with in Sheffield around RisingSun time has moved out without telling me so now I have plans to go up to Sheffield but no where to stay, so joy!!

- Other friends - the girl I really like is now looking at moving back to Norway in July so it looks like anything we might have had, we won't have now, and she's hardly talking to me either now so I may as well just give up and save the pain of it all :(

- Some other friends - one of my best friends for years has come back to England for a while, but I just can't seem to get to hang out with her, though she hangs out with other friends so may as well give up on that front too :(

- Me - damn leg still isn't working properly, the doctors don't want to say how long it will take for things to get better, they're just upping my pain killer dosage from 300mg three times a day to 800mg and the pain is still there!!!

So yeah, that's about it. Pretty much everything is p*$$ing me off at the moment, I'm broke, and just wanna go back to the last place that felt like home - Vancouver - but I just don't have the money!!!

Gutting, along with Macca as well seems a few having a rough trot at the moment.

Don't worry about your car, people on here will help you with that, just got to get to see it. Its nothing that can't be sorted easily enough. Well that's one thing not to worry about. Don't go spending out on your car at the moment until we all get to see it. It should save you something.

Pain wise it must be awful and think its disgusting they can't sort it out, investigate it and manage it.

Cheers Ang, taking it to the garage tomorrow to get the exhaust put back on and have the rear wiper removed (add to the clean look) and getting some NGK copper plugs as they recommend them, so see if that helps.

And as for the pain, the problem is a lot of pain killers don't work fully on me :( Dammit!!

Main thing getting to me though is all the hassle with my friends. And I'm now screwed for when it comes to RisingSun, so god knows what I'm gonna be doing around then!!

Just wanna quit n start again in Canada :( There's gradually getting less and less for me here :(
