Now officially jobless..

I hadn't posted this up before as I was pretty p*ssed off..

But, I had notice on Thursday that I was being made redundant, last day being yesterday. Nice.

I've only been there 6 months so not entitled to bugger all, but I'm getting paid for my notice period, though they don't want me to be at work. So now to the drawing board and trying to find a job as soon as possible.

Not an easy time to be doing that :(

It's their loss Macca. Some people haven't got a clue how to work through the bad times, good workers are hard to find. You have to look after your workers through the good and bad.

It's a bugger being on crutches and trying to find a job, how long now before you get off those things?

They've got a reputation for not looking after their employees, it's their way it seems. Although people were shocked, nobody was suprised what they had done and how they had done it.

The cast comes off a week Tuesday so then it's just a matter of time until I can get fully mobile on it. I've been warned to not push myself too hard, that there is a fine balance between getting it mobile and overdoing it.

It won't stop me going to interviews etc., just makes it harder and means I have to rely on transport. Poor Tasha has been brilliant though, and so helpful bless her.

You are definitly lucky there, not going to make Tasha blush but she really does go out of her way to keep you happy ;)

I doubt she would believe it to be honest, I keep telling her but she thinks she does what anybody would do. She needs to realise she goes above and beyond. I am very lucky indeed :)

You are VERY lucky;) That's what I like about Tasha she does what everybody should do but not many would. Too many people walk on by or treat people like dirt, use people.
